FAQ
Q: Will the zine be for profit or charity?
It will be for profit! Minors who get accepted into the zine will need to have their parents permission/PayPal to get paid, or will be paid with free merch.
Q: What do contributors get for participating?
If the zine is profitable, all profits will be split equally between mods and contributors.
Our goal is to provide all contributors with a free copy of the physical zine as well as their own merch if they're a merch artist. If this isn't possible contributors will have the opportunity to buy the zine at manufacturer cost.
Q: What is the age requirement to join this zine?
There is none! This is an all ages project and will be completely sfw.
Q: Can I submit nsfw examples in my application?
We prefer you not to however our mod team is all 18+ so its okay to apply with one or two nsfw examples. Just tag them as so.
Q: Do I have to submit bkdk?
Nope! We'd like at least one bkdk example but its not required!
Q: How many contributors do you plan on having?
We're looking at about 30 artists and 10 writers, possible a couple more writers depending on how applications go.
Q: Will the zine be open to international applicants?
Yup! However the zine will be in English and the head mod is located in the US so the zines will be shipped from there.
Q: Will the zine have a discord server?
Yes, this is how contributors should keep in contact with the zine mods.
Q: Can artists and writers collaborate?
Absolutely! If you'd like to collaborate with someone in the server, let a mod know!
Q: Are other characters allowed in the zine?
Sure! As long as the main focus is bkdk, we don't mind the appearance of other characters.
